Getting Started with First Pro Android App

Complete setup guide for the First Pro Android application.

Installation Process

Download from Play Store

  1. Open Google Play Store
  2. Search "First Pro Emergency Response"
  3. Tap "Install"
  4. Wait for download and installation

Alternative Installation

For departments with custom APK:

  1. Enable "Unknown Sources" in Settings
  2. Download APK from department portal
  3. Open downloaded file
  4. Follow installation prompts

First Launch

Sign In

  1. Open First Pro app
  2. Enter department code (provided by admin)
  3. Input username
  4. Enter password
  5. Tap "Sign In"

Permission Requests

Grant the following when prompted:

Location Permission

  • Select "Allow all the time" for best functionality
  • Enables navigation and location tracking

Notification Permission

  • Tap "Allow" to receive alerts
  • Critical for emergency notifications

Storage Access

  • Allow access for offline capabilities
  • Stores maps and pre-plans locally

Account Setup

Profile Configuration

  1. Navigate to Settings > Profile
  2. Verify your information:
    • Name and badge number
    • Contact information
    • Certifications
    • Emergency contacts

Biometric Authentication

Enable for quick access:

  1. Settings > Security
  2. Enable "Fingerprint Login"
  3. Register your fingerprint

Battery Settings

Optimization Exemption

Prevent Android from limiting app:
