Alert Reception

Notification Types

The app uses multiple alert methods:

Viewing Incident Details

From Notification

  1. Tap the notification
  2. App opens to incident screen
  3. Auto-loads all relevant data

From App

  1. Open app
  2. Tap "Active Incidents"
  3. Select specific incident

  • Location with map preview
  • Assigned units
  • Dispatch notes
  • Time stamps

Response Workflow

Step 1: Acknowledge

  1. Open incident
  2. Tap "Acknowledge"
  3. Confirms receipt to dispatch

Step 2: Respond

  1. Update status to "Responding"
  2. Automatic location tracking begins
  3. ETA calculated for dispatch

Step 3: Navigate

  1. Tap address bar
  2. Select navigation app:
    • Google Maps
    • Waze
    • Built-in navigation
  3. Follow route to scene

Step 4: On Scene

  1. Tap "On Scene" upon arrival
  2. Time stamp recorded
  3. Location verified
